I've spent the last few years learning the craft of web development the hands-on way — building, breaking, and rebuilding until the pieces click. What started as front-end tinkering pulled me steadily toward the server side, where I found the work I enjoy most: designing APIs, modeling data, and making systems dependable.

These days I work across the full stack, but I'm happiest close to the backend and the deploy pipeline. I like turning a vague idea into a clear schema, a flaky script into a repeatable process, and a slow endpoint into a fast one.

When I'm not shipping, I'm usually reading about infrastructure, refining my own tooling, or helping other developers untangle a problem.

Backend & APIs

Designing and building the services that power products end to end — including self-hosted, open API platforms like Forgejo.

I build these platforms in TypeScript and run them across both Azure and Nix-based setups, managing clusters directly with kubectl over virtual machines. I've deployed everything from a single node on one VM up to three nodes across three machines, scaling the topology to match what the workload actually needs.

    Designed and built the website for a health-metrics studio offering DEXA body-composition scans, VO2 max testing, and RMR assessments. I continue to consult on the site — shaping how their services are presented and keeping the booking experience clear for clients.

    One-Command Open API Deploys

    A provisioning tool that stands up open API sites on Azure, AWS, or DigitalOcean from just a couple of commands. Pick a target, run the CLI, and it handles the VMs, cluster, and networking so a new platform is live without the usual setup grind.
